Me and the dsds-section and the "BILD"-Zeitung

Funnily, I played both with Mike Leon Grosch and Fady Maalouf during the last week.
I played after Mr. Grosch in Remscheid and right before Mr. Maalouf in Cottbus.
Sadly there was no time to take any pictures...
AND: I finally had my first appearance in the german yellow press. The newspaper is called "BILD" and normally never gets it right and is full of rumors and lies.nevermind:-))Everybody reads it!

Hach.....hach....hach

For all of you that don´t know about my two little cats that we saved from a certain death some years ago: there they are: "Herr Schloenzke" who behaves like a dog most of the time (very clingy) and the little "Batzen" whose head just doesn´t wanna grow anymore. But the rest comically does.Now it looks more like a pyramid....but aren´t they beeeaaaauutiiiiful?!?

The road

So, here we are, touring our lovely country and mainly living on beer and burger king...mmmmhh. On the pic you see Mr.Williams and myself during a show-break in Flensburg. But don´t get the wrong impression; it´s still so much fun and cool to meet so many new and interesting guys (that would be you, you and you:-))throughout the tour. Tomorrow we will hit the stage in Bad Pyrmont. See some of you there hopefully!

The Tour

Hey guys,
the shopping mall tour is never gonna end, it seems, which is cool, because it´s so much fun and we get to know so many nice and lovely people. On the pic you see the entrance hall in "Zentrum Helle Mitte" in Berlin where we played on Valentine´s Day. Isn´t it hot??
The day before we went to a concert of the great and awesome "Rise Against" who played in the big big "Sporthalle Alsterdorf" in Hamburg. They are amazing and have just been voted the most animal friedliest band !! It seems I wasn´t up for voting:-))))
You must check them out and love them just like us!!!

Just in between

Just a short "hello" from the road. I can´t decide between keeping on drinking beer and doing funny things with my band-mates or - and now listen- reading the HARRY POTTER 3 en francais (le prisonnier d´azkaban, s´il yous plait) which really brought back some long lost nice vocabulary à moi.

Updated tour-dates

Hey dear people. Just wanted to give you a short tour-update: I will play at the "Köln Arkaden" on January 23rd at 8p.m. I´d be so pleased to see you.

Triple Höffner Show and lots of prosecco

I hope you had a wonderful christmas and lots of good food that you will not get again for the next 12 months bacause of your poor cooking abilities:-))My grandma for example makes the best wild boar every year and I wouldn´t even know that you can eat wild boar (took a tiny break from saving all animnals:-()
So we have just finished our fabulous triple-show at the home center "Höffner" in Barsbüttel and we had a great time. Everybody was taking good care of us and some clever people set a little prosecco-bar up next to the stage. Because we all know : Where there´s alkohol for free, the generel german shall linger some more:-)))And it works. Not only for the audience but the humble and hardworking band as well.
So I have a little riddle for you to solve if you can spare 30 minutes.
Please go to cateevens.ning.com (you migt need to creat an acount, but it´s for free) and check out the picture-section. There you will find 192 photos, all loaded up by Andreas. On these various pics you mostly see the band perform at the lovely "Höffner-Stage" and have a glass of prosecco. Your mission is to count all the prosecco-glasses you see (empty or half-full or full) that we - the band are holding- on the 192 pics. Don´t count the million glasses on the prosecco-bar and the glasses the audience is having. The first one to tell me the correct number at cate@cate-evens.de will win a little promo-package!!
